Our Story
Dave Crader spent twelve years as a journeyman for one of the big franchise outfits before he'd had enough of quotas and upsell scripts. In 2008 — not exactly a friendly year to start a business — he hung his own shingle in Spring Valley with his wife Renee running the phones from the kitchen table.
The first hire was his brother-in-law. The second was a former customer who liked how Dave explained things and wanted to learn the trade the right way. That's still how we hire: people we'd trust in our own mothers' homes, trained in-house, never subcontracted out.
Today Renee still answers a fair share of the emergency calls, the kids handle dispatch and the books, and Dave is usually the second opinion on anything tricky. We've stayed deliberately mid-sized — big enough to be at your door in under an hour, small enough that the person who quotes the job is the company that stands behind it.
